Context
Cistercian Landscape Compositions of Upper Silesia. Gliwice, Rybnik, Racibórz and Kędzierzyn Koźle.
The foundation was created as a result of the 13th century. Compliant with the Cistercian rule, based on the principle of local materials – wood and bricks.
In Rudy and its vicinity, you can find many examples of brick buildings made in a masterly way.
The building is located on the edge of the city. SPD. Houses that have been turned into the future, which has been turned into the future of the virgin forest.
Material
The walls of the building were made of hand-sorted waste bricks from nearby brickworks.
A variation of cross-linking was used on the other side of the face.
This simple treatment significantly enriched the work of chiaroscuro on the façade. To complete the same pair of bricks, an openwork wall was created, could not break the clean structure of the façade.
At night, when the chiaroscuro does not work, the first plan is made of glowing drops of openwork.

The building grows out of the ground.

The green roof, which is to be a minimum extent, is a harmonic with the natural surroundings.
It was quite a challenge to choose a natural ceramic tile. This time is a hand-formed tile from Greater Poland.
